A 5,000 mAh pack on 3 m of single-color strip: about 4.2 hours. The math for every strip and pack, from the app’s own figures.
3 m single-color strip on a 5,000 mAh pack: ≈ 4.2 h
The strip’s draw per metre decides it: single color about 0.4 A/m, analog RGB about 0.6 A/m at max, addressable Neopixel about 1 A/m at full white. Three metres of single color draw 3 × 0.4 = 1.2 A, and a 5 Ah pack holds 5 ÷ 1.2 ≈ 4.2 h.
The app’s own numbers: white-full is the ceiling, never the plan; a dimmed preset at 40% reads just as bright on a con floor and roughly doubles the night.
Never plan on full white: the dimmer presets are the plan. A 3 m addressable strip can want 3+ amps at full white, so plan the 40% preset, inject power every 2 metres of strip, and keep the data wire short. The lab runs this same math against your exact strip and pack, and the wearable LED guide carries the wiring rules.
Full-white hours = pack Ah ÷ strip amps. The app’s dimmer line: at the 40% preset, plan roughly double the full-white number.
